This internship will be a minimum of 15 hours per week, and is eligible for college credit for a student majoring in creative writing or history. Responsibilities may include fact-checking, general research, interview transcription, and editorial feedback. The ideal candidate should also be well-versed in social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and TikTok. The ability to track down sources and navigate library and online searches is also a plus. They must be able to summarize findings clearly and succinctly. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and research skills, and a background in, or passion for, history and historical research. Ideal interns will be interested in both the business and editorial side of publishing, be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook), be proficient at interested in how books are actually written?
