This results in not having to press the binding twice, in order to use it as soon as possible if you have good aim. This macro can take getting used to, as you go from double pressing your Spear of Bastion binding, to using your cursor, pointing it where you want to use the spear, then pressing this macro to instantly use it. Having said that, it can be a bit tedious to have multiple names to change, which is why others prefer the party1+2 macros. I personally prefer the name macros as I'm used to having one binding for healers and one binding for DPS, which I got used to over time. There's no real right or wrong in which Intervene macros you want to use, all are good for using Intervene with ease and can come down to which one you find easier to use. There are 3 different ways you can use Intervene macros:Ģ - Name macros (1 macro for healer and the other for DPS) A lot of situations like this could arise so it’s important having a cancelaura macro for Bladestorm as a binding, to make this easier to do. There will be times where you’re using Bladestorm but you want to cancel it to interrupt an important cast, or use mobility to keep up to a target, or stun your target in place instead.
